The Cellini spiral is a variant of the tubular peyote stitch where beads of different sizes are used to form a spiral. The Spiral Cellini was invented by the bead artists Virginia Blakelock and Carol Perenoud. The name was given in memory of the Italian sculptor of the sixteenth century, Benvenuto Cellini, known for its rococo architectural columns. In the course we will make a variant of the Cellini spiral, reversing the direction of "marching" halfway through work, thus creating an interesting focal point.
The course is designed for all those who wish to create a unique and high quality jewelry piece, using their imagination and creativity and learning a new technique.
